After last weeks nine goal thriller, nobody thought that we would see another nine goal thriller so soon. This week however, it was in Spitfires favour.
Spitfires dominated from the start Georgia Leonard opened the scoring with a well worked goal.
Spitfires continued to push foward and Leoanrd scored her second.
Not content with two Leonard scored her hat-trick again with another strike which the Nailsea 'keeper couldn't get her hands too.
Nailsea did find their first however, as the Nailsea striker was allowed to much time and space.
In a well fought game Spitfires did find themselves without Emma Skinner as she clashed heads with the Nailsea players, both being taken to hosptial.
Even more dispair for Nailsea as one of their players got her marching orders after a rude gesture to the official.
Spitfires did regain their three goal advantage just before half-time, as Leonard's neatly timed corner fell to Diane George to slot home from close range.
In the second half Nailsea came out strong even with 10 players and scored within the first 5 minutes.
Spitfires made a few changes and this was an advantage for Nailsea who scored thier third.
Spitfires did score their fifth trhough Debbie Rose, her second in as many weeks. Spitfires should have pushed on, but didn't create as many chances.
Nailsea's fourth came from a penatly as Laura Mason handled the ball in the area.
This lead to a frantic finish to the match. Nailsea pushed on for an equalizer but this never came.
Spitfires are away next week as they take on Downed Flyers.
