Spitfires are currently in the South West Women's Football League and are looking to improve on their mid-table finish last season.
NEW MANAGEMENT FOR SPITFIRES' FIRST TEAM
For the season 2010-2011 Swindon Spitfires have appointed Paul Martin as First Team Manager.
Paul is an experienced F.A. Level 2 coach and is currently working towards his Level 3 - the UEFA 'B' Licence. He has been coaching Spitfires' First and Reserve teams for the past two seasons.
Acting as his assistant is Mike Skinner, who steps up after managing Spitfires' Reserve team for the last two seasons. Mike is an F.A. Level 1 coach.
TRAINING
Training takes place twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursday, at South Marston Recreation Ground between 7 and 8.30 pm.
Paul and Mike would like to invite any experienced players who are motivated and willing to learn to come along and sample the training.
